Food For Ponder
Haha everyday is a interesting new day and so was today man.
Other than 2 interesting lessons which I learned today, I had a great nite with Xin Zhong and Alan at the Spect Mess today with Beer and KTV. Discussion bt the flight system and Human Interaction always make a great topic and we had endless joy relecting and discussin it.
Point 1 : Something out of the blue happened today. Well there was some changes to the shift, where I replace a Guy A from a shift with a new spect whu was behind shedule due to courses. Basically I just have to backup my suggestion to Mr Lim and wait for his approval, well Mr Lim agreed, so its just the procedure of informing them. Well astonishing and expectedly Guy A did not take it easy........and the questioning of how I works and the reason which I gives are valid to change the shift.
Oh Come On.......Guy A was not suppose to be on the shift in the first place, and the story ends after a few SMSes, with words like F**K U, "not happy with the way things are done" coming from him.
Sounds reasonable, I do agree.
The world is Utopia? No
The world is total Democratic? No
The world is Perfect? No
U think I care ? No
Now back to reality. First, one must always consider the advantage one gets, more shift than the other guys and having his voice heard. Second, if everyones wants his ways to be done his ways, you think the system will work? Third and Lastly, just becos things are change due to a better alternative, does that give one the reason to flung vulgars and questions on a fellow colleague. Yes, that sets the tone, no respect to a colleague and basically a fren. So you can roughly guess whu Guy A was replaced, other than the official reason.
Point 2 : One good colleague of mine gave me a suggestion after he heard bt it, offering to be taken out of the shift so that Guy A can be appeased. I sincerely thank him and appreciate the kind help my colleauge rendered.
But Look, everyone has his sets of rules and pricipals, and it differs from one to another.
~~~Yea Man~~~so I give in? Sure, if I'm a very nice guy or in another term, a Gu Niang.
Listen man, you are looking at the Iori-Game Blog. You think I will make sure the world is fair and everyone's happy? I play the game my way and you play yours. I will be wrong on some moves, but the game carries on, I will get my decisions up and going. Influences, obstacles are everwhere, while determination can only be found within a person. Take Iori Yagami as an example, Kill Kyo and he will make sure he does. Same Rule applies, follow things which you believe are rite, do not bend becos of problems and words which does nothing but obstruct your sight.
I'm a Spect, and With Pride I Lead.
DISCLAIMER : This post only applies to the thingsI believed in and which I learned over the years. YES it may sound harsh and unfeeling, but these are qualities which strenghtens oneself and lay the foundation for greatness. No One is Perfect. The main idea is to be firm of your beliefs, but not inflexible.
