Adventure and Challeges is getting into my blood

Woa I did something which even I cant believe myself.

I signed up for the 42 km Standard Chartered Marathon Run that is to be held on Dec 2 2007

Siao On rite??!!

Actually Xin Zhong alr asked me to join last year's Marathon one le, but then I feel weak and did not do so. This year wise both Xin Zhong and Seck Wang asked me to join also. I was tempted to. The deciding factor came after joining ODAC F.O.O.T camp, after seeing ppl wearing the 2006 Marathon shirt. The temptation of a Next Challenge spark off inside me and I went to get it done today. Not bad got GOODIE BAG!!! and I will receive a Race Entry Pack with a running attire and some misc stuffs as the race get close. Now I have to train as to prepare for the run.

Ok back to recent events. Haha must mention the Freshmen.Oversea.Orientation.Tour for ODAC 2007. The things I have done over the 6 days 5 nights trip was lagi adventurous and challenging lor, and I did things that I have nv done b4.

First Day : I was late lar.....sian cos I must go and renounce my British citizenship and take oath to be Singaporean. What in the world rite, I served NS alr lor. The main event was night cycling which started off at 2300 hrs, and ended at 4am. The bicycles were of superior quality, think just the tires are a few times more ex than my stupid whole bike. It was such a new experience, cos I nv tried nite cycling b4, and came to a point so tired that I nearly slept while cycling.

Day Two : 2 events came out, Kayaking for the morning part. Nth special since I went for worst kayaking trips b4, but its quite refreshing to do it again cos I alr forgot when was the last time I kayak le. What surprises me most is the rock wall climbing in the afternoon. There were 3 walls for us to try, 1 harder than the other 2. I manage to get one of the easier one done. Then in my grp there was 2 commandos and 1 officer, and all of them failed to climb up the harder one. Me went last, and Biang Oei I did it lor. Air Force specky. Not bad Not bad.

Day Three : The start of Kota Tinggi Trip liao. First day was basically traveling and packing, plus cooking competition at night. Haha Tzyy Kay said something amusing to me while peeing at the grass patch lor, he said :" I cant believe we are still living in the wild after NS" Wah how true man.

Day Four : Another exciting event, the Trekking up Kota Tinggi Waterfall. The upclib took us around 2 plus hours, and it rained heavily after reaching the top, Cool Man!!! The trek was somewhat difficult to the general I guess, cos must climb vertical slope and water reaches chest level at some point. But to me its CHICKEN FEET. haha.
