Thou as lazy as I am today, I still have to write this post on this special day,
6th of November 2006.
Why so?

Cos its the day I ORD lor !!!
The day begins as I wake up at 8am, woken by a SMS from my ex-colleague Kian Yong, who wishes me a happy ORD, and welcome me to a new lease of life. Haha I'm so happy that he remembered my ORD date, totally appreciated it. Another ring from my phone ring, a msg from me one year ago, while I was slacking at RSO tower. The msg reminds me of the wonderful time I had spent on Pawai, and to work hard for the days to come. Hmm a sense of travelling thru time sudden surges onto me. Thou today was my ORD date, my status was on leave. SO , I take my own sweet time to bathe and change to my nice nice No.4 Uniform, had a breakfast at Mac, b4 taking some more sweet time to camp.
Well kindaf interesting as I reached camp, cos Mr Lim wasn't here today. I was quite surprized, as I would like to bid farewell to him, but nvm, it also gave me a chance to interact more freely with my colleagues whom I'll be seeing less from today onwards. Had lunch with XZ and gang, b4 waiting for the holy hour of 4pm to come to collect my Pink IC.
The moment arrived.
Lamo me always have weird ideas. First I change into Civilian Clothes, to symbolise that when I get out of camp I'll be a civilian. Also, I tied my boots together, and prepared to throw them away together at the camp rubbish dump.
Why boots? Cos the pair of boots are the boots I have worn since BMT, thru SISPEC, FDS and until current. They are in bad shapes as holes has all appeared and water gets in.The soles have also worn out after all the road marches and chiong sua.. However, I still wears them till the day I ORD to remember all the different places I have been to in my Army days. Throwing them away is my final appreciation to them, as they have served me well, thru rain, sun and sweat.
And the PINK IC !!! I took it over from the lady, and took a look at the card which I have not seen for 1 yr and 10 mths. I Bid farewell to my colleagues in camp, took a final look at the office I have spent so long working in. It was drizzling when I walked out of camp, creating a interesting feel for my ORD. It was not Happiness or Sadness, but rather a wonderful farewell to a Chapter of My Life.
