Tuas South Avenue Expedition 2 : Myth of Fishing

Do you know the Myth of Fishing that has baffled Anglers for all ages ???

Well let me tell you,the Myth of Fishing is that beginners has "Beginner's Luck", which means that first time casters have a high percentage of landing a fish onto the sands from the vast sea.

I wonder bout the myth sometimes, until today when my dear fren Ri Dong showed to me that Myth does exit afterall.

Today was a rather Boring day, nth to do, plus good weather. Ri Dong called and we had a chat over the recent NTU happenings. It wasnt until 11am that I decided to go for a fishing trip at the lost paradise of Tuas and asked him along.

Met 12pm@Boon Lay MRT, before taking a bus to Tuas. After reaching a stop its trekking plus bashing time where we walk endlessly for 40 over minutes b4 coming to a end cos of constructions. I was disappointed.

Well nvm, we just sat down at a area cos we were shag out. I taught Ri Dong some basic casting skills b4 doing my own set of rod. Ri dong casted, and a min later reel in and told me that the line seems stuck. I was like "SIAN", tot that the line tio rocks and will waste one of my weight. He manage to continue reeling in......and Kabook!......its a fish!!! I cant believe it man, its unbelievable.



But alas, that was the last of any actions that we have seen for the day until all our baits got exhausted. However, as low tides arrived, something wonderful happened. The tides retreat and showed a shallow break water in front of us. It gradually formed into a beach out in the sea. It was simply Unrealistic. The before and after effect can be seen by comparing the background of the pictures I took.


Ended around 6 when Ri Dong's Dad manage to locate us and I got a free ride home!!! Yea!!!
